The "Holiday Pamper-Me Box" by CraveBox

Well I have some exciting news. SheSpeaks has launched a new program, called Cravebox. It just launched this December and I was one of the lucky people who were able to sign up for the program. Who knew there was a limited amount of spaces. CraveBox is a monthly program for 10 dollars a month, you receive a box of samples in the mail to try out and if you want you can share your opinion about the products online at SheSpeaks.com. This is similar to the BirchBox and Testube program where you too, pay a monthly fee and each month you receive hand picked products to sample each month but unlike the BirchBox and TestTube this program is not just beauty products but a array of practical everyday products. I Love it.

So the December Cravebox arrived in a tight little box. The interior of the package was decked out with pink tissue paper and some items were individually wrapped. I love the presentation.

So what was in the December CraveBox? My first Cravebox had a Perugina Dark Chocolate with Almonds candy bar. What girl doesn't like Chocolate? This was a big 3.5 oz bar. Which I of course opened immediately.  The bar I received was dark chocolate  and I am milk chocolate girl but if the chocolate is made well then I will eat dark chocolate from time to time. So I am so glad I was able to try this bar particularly because I would have never tested this product without this opportunity, and I will buy the product again.

As you can see I didn't just receive one chocolate bar but I also received a 2 pack of Perugira Baci Chocolate Truffles.  The Perugira line is an Italian treat, I didn't mention that above, The Baci was also made from dark chocolate but with chopped hazelnuts. Each chocolate was individually wrapped with sliver foil and each chocolate had a quote inside, once again nice presentation. All and all the Perugira line was very good.

Now the largest sample was a body balm called, "Mereadesso woman" and it was 6.8 oz. The balm which I've never heard of before is suppose to, "moisturize and tone the skin". It is made in Canada.  Now,  I tested the balm and noticed even after a hour my skin still has a shine to it. Which is nice, and healthy looking, the balm has a nice citric smell to as well.   The only downside was I find the balm a bit tacky but only a little bit. All and all it was a big treat.

The fourth product was Bic's "For Her" pens. Which I love. I received not one but two packages of pens with two pens in each pack.  I received two black ink, one pink and one purple. I love colored pens. I did share my pens with my co-work and if I read the package first and noticed the pens wrote pink and purple I probably would have kept both pens. Yes they are just pens, but they have jeweled tops and a floral design throughout. I am such a girl in the fact that anything cute and shiny I will buy and I will buy these pens again and again.

Now the last product  I received was OPI Nic's stick, a tube of nail polish that is quick and easy to use and can go anywhere with you. Awesome idea. I received this product in "Stick with Me"  a neutral beige which I like.  The applicator was shaped like a pen and when you remove the cap it has a brush on the end. The other end has a button that you push to release the nail polish. The end is also translucent so you can see the polish color inside. Now like I said above this is a awesome idea, it was easy to apply and I just tried it again after waiting two days and I thought the brush would be hard as a rock but it was still pliable, which is awesome, good design. My only problem with this product is this is not a quick drying nail polish, I applied this product, waited for it to dry, applied my second coat, let the polish dry and went to bed about a hour later, and when I woke up I had fabric marks on my nails, so disappointing.

All in all this program is well worth it and a good value, I enjoyed all my products and am so glad I am apart of this program. I hope the Beta test continues and I look forward to many more Craveboxs in the future.

Thank you again SheSpeaks for the opportunity.

Once again, you have to check out Cravebox and try to get into this program, it is so worth 10 bucks a month. Once in the program you will be charged each month and the box sent out, the shipping is included so you can't beat this deal. It is a monthly treat and a surprise all in one.

Hey my blogger buddies. I like addressing my new blog as if I have so many followers but in reality I am sure I just have one loyal friend reading this; but what the hey.

So today, is December 19th, 2011 and I have been so overwhelmed with the holidays and work that I can't wait for a week off. I just arrived home from a busy day at work to find a package from
Amazon. Now I've done all my Christmas shopping this year online, which I never do, but I've been working crazy hours at work and haven't had time to hit the stores. So I love technology, and shopping online because without the Internet I would be lost this holiday.

Now this package was among a number of packages that I ordered in the past few weeks, I received four packages today. I found it odd because I don't remember ordering anything from Amazon but I could have forgotten. So I opened the box to find a DVD, a blu ray at that of the Nightmare Before Christmas. Now upon opening this package, I realized I didn't order this DVD. Weird. Did Amazon make a mistaken? I noticed the DVD packing slip was signed but I didn't recognize the sender. Well after quizzing my brother who was at a loss, I decided to open the plastic wrap around the DVD, and good news there was a gift note. The note Congratulated me on being a winner of the Holiday Traditions newsletter giveaway on
SheSpeaks. How Awesome. That was a very nice surprise. I had no idea I won till I received the DVD in the mail. What a treat.

Now if you don't know what She Speaks is, it is a website, where you can learn about new products by reading and writing reviews about consumer products. This is a awesome website which has had alot of changes in the past few months with a new program called Cravebox which just launched, (more about that in another blog) and after a few years using the website, I've received more and more products to review and giveaway opportunities to be involved with like the Holiday Traditions one referenced above . Now there is a new giveaway going on, called, "Share your Holiday Beauty Sparkle Tips", check it out @ http://www.shespeaks.com/Share-Your-Holiday-Party-Style-Tips-to-Win.

As you can tell I am so happy with the Shespeaks website, and how it really rewards the average person for her thoughts. So thank you Shespeaks and everybody check out Shespeaks for yourself,  you can learn about new products through testing real samples and reading the opinions of your peers. Good luck and enjoy.

T.Best Torani Authentic Coffeehouse Flavor Review...

Well hello again... Here's to my second blog post and first official product review.  My friends at She Speaks sent me a package last Thursday. How exciting to come home to a box of free stuff. I was picked to join into the Torani Authentic Coffeehouse Flavor program. Honestly, who would say no to free "Full Size"coffee flavors. Exspecially Torani which is a well known coffee and drink flavor used in most coffee houses and restaurants, at least in the Boston, MA area.

When the box arrived it was so exciting, I already knew what was inside but it is exciting to open the package to find not one but two 750ml Bottles of Torani syrup. I happened to get one Pumpkin Spice and one Sugar Free Vanilla. Who knew I really wanted to try the Pumpkin Spice. Fall is my favorite season of the year and I love that everything turns pumpkin flavored in the fall, Torani's Pumpkin Spice is the perfect fall addition to my coffee.

As always I am on a diet but I never deprive myself of coffee because it doesn't have calories and it fills me up. What better way to turn my coffee into a sweet treat then to add Torains's Pumpkin spice flavor. Now I do have to say I am not a one cup coffee girl, I like my coffee morning, noon and night. It has no affect on me besides putting a smile on my face. So I love this program and couldn't pass up flavoring my daily one-five cups of coffee a day. Now I can't say the Pumpkin spice coffee will replace all cookies and brownies one may want in a day, but it will keep me on track during the holidays.

Now poor Vanilla I didn't forget about you. As stated above I did receive a free "Full Size" Sugar free Vanilla Torani Authentic Coffeehouse Flavor, which if I was never on the WW plan I would have never found orange creamsicle martini recipe from Hungry Girl  and would had no desire to purchase the Sugar-Free version of Torani's Vanilla syrup. But the creamsicle recipe is so unbelievably delicious, and the key ingredient is Toranis Sugar-free Vanilla, in my opinion this recipe alone will garrentee that Toranis Sugar free Vanilla Syrup will be a staple in my panty for years. Just a FYI, if you want fun recipes to try with Toranis Sugar Free Syrups I would totally check out the Hungry Girl website referenced above, it has WW friendly recipes which are a must have when dieting. Don't get me wrong Torani website has tons of recipes too, the website is so addictive that you will want to buy every syrup you see.  Torani's Pumpkin Pie, Torani's Gingerbread, The Elvis Latte, OMG Check it out.

Now if you want to get in on product reviews like is one sign up for shespeaks I like this website because it is a no nonsense website, you get to try a few new products each year and they don't overwhelm you with email after email.  Now if you want a chance to win a free bottle of Toranis coffee syrups, tomorrow November 17, 2011 at 9pm, Shespeaks will be hosting a Twitter party where they will be giving away prizes to include Full size Torani Authentic Coffeehouse Syrups so check it out. http://bit.ly/vynLKj Oh and see you there.

T.Best Tips, Ways to Save: First Blog Post Ever.....

Yay my first Blog post....How exciting. It didn't take to long to figure out what I was doing. But it also wasn't without a little hesitation. "Blogger" by google was really easy. I look forward to many more posts and upgrading my blog themes in the up coming weeks and months ahead.

Well, with all the excitment I haven't introduced myself. For staters, I love finding bargains and saving money, "Free" is always good for me. I am a busy professional but I like to know where my money is going. Having put myself through college, I have a stack of student loans and another stack of coupons to help save money. In my opinion, why pay full price for anything when you can wait till it goes on sale? It is even better when you can match a sale with a coupon. I love it.  I look at it as a game. If stores are going to offer you products for free or even less then a dollar; then way not take advantage? They are not advertising that the item is free, you have to do some work like matching the coupon to the sale but when you do it is very exciting. The best part is sharing my steals with my friends and family, because I want everybody to get in on the deal.

Now in the past year, it seams like couponing has become cool. I am not the extreme coupon queen at all, I buy one and only one sunday newspaper every Sunday when I am not to lazy to get my butt to the store. I can't justify getting more then one paper at a time. I would love more then one paper but living in the Boston area, the Boston Globe is $3.50 a paper, I can't see myself paying $7.00 for two papers.

Besides searching the Sunday paper for steals and deals on everyday household products, a few years back I tried to find ways to get free stuff online. When you don't have any money you find ways to get free stuff. I know the purpose of a free sample is to try new products and then buy a full size version and in most cases if the sample comes with a coupon I will use it.  I love samples and I love mail and what's more exciting then coming home from work to find free samples in the mail.  In my searching and reseach online for free samples I found a few websites that not only give you free samples but they will send you free full size versions of new products to try for free. Yes it is true.  From time to time I will get packages in the mail of the lastest product to try for free and I usually go on their website and review the item. It is only fair, in my opinion, to provide feedback. If somebody is going to give me something for free, I am more then happy to tell them about the product.  I am not sure how these websites rank you but I always thought the more you write the more you will get. So this blog in the up coming weeks and months will include how and where to find Free stuff online and steals and deals. Because you know it is the little things in life that make you happy.

Thanks for stopping by, I look forward to many more post's. Here's to Number 1. :)
