I received Curel Intensive Healing Advanced Ceramide Therapy hand lotion samples from Buzzagent, for FREE to sample and share with my friends.

I received six little 1 oz samples. Wow, right?

I love it when I receive big samples to share with my friends and family. Little samples give you one use, but a 1 oz sample lets you try the lotion on multiple occasions. And it is great when not only you can experience a sample share but that your friends can too, so THANK YOU Curel and Buzzagent for big samples.

Now the product….This lotion or Crème is thick, and covers well. If you flip the jar upside down nothing will fall out. It isn’t your typical lotion but the type of hand therapy that you would find online or at a specialty store. This isn’t the type of lotion you would think to find at a convenient store, but you can now…

It is very cold here in New England this time of year so my skin and hands tend to be a little dry.   Upon my first use, I noticed the lotion is very rich, it peaks when you dab your finger into it. When applied to your skin, the product soaks in, it doesn’t just lay on the top of your hand.  Since this lotion seeps in when applied, you can actually tell where the lotion was applied and where it wasn’t because there is a moisture line.

I hate lotion on my hands and want to wash my hands after using lotion, but this lotion absorbs so well and is so thick that even after washing my hands you can still feel the softens. This isn’t a greasy feeling or sticky it just feels moisturized.

Now as soon as I received my samples, the day of, my friend from CT was in town and I was able to open and share the box instantly with her and her family. I love when things happen that way. My friend applied the lotion right away, because she had a wedding the next day. And she felt the lotion absorb completely. Everybody was all smiles and it is my understanding that they are still using the product.

I do feel without knowing the price that this product if set at the right price point $5 or $6 no more then $8 would be an awesome find in the local convenient store. Yes I believe this product could be found else where but at a specialty store at a much higher price.

So try it out for your self, I feel overall it is above average.

I received the New Dr. Scholl’s Active series shoe inserts from Influenster a few weeks ago. I am currently in training for a half marathon in Disney. YAY… In 6 days… So this was the perfect time to receive this product because I am in training. On top of the half marathon my friends and I just ran a 5K this past weekend and we have two more races after the half this year. So I am a busy girl or at least my feet are.

I have to admit I believe if it isn’t broke then way fix it right. Well I’ve had my sneakers for many years; I just flipped through one of my photo albums and noticed that the sneakers I wore in my first triathlon are the same sneakers I am still wearing. And I’ve run in many races between that time. So needless to say I need new sneakers. But I also am the perfect candidate to try the new Dr. Scholl’s Active series sneaker inserts because it may help with the support I need in my old sneakers.

So, I opened the inserts right way and put them in my sneakers and jumped on the treadmill. Now I work pretty late at night so I tend to run on the treadmill during the week and outside on the weekends. So, I’ve used the inserts on and off the treadmill. Upon my first use I could feel the support. The heel, closest to the ankle is a firm arched surface that does provide support. I ran only 3 miles the first use but that same weekend I ran 10 miles with the inserts outside and I didn’t notice they were there. Which is a good thing. I didn’t feel any pain or slippage, it was an easy ride with the insert and I hoped it was helping. I guess if it hurt I would feel it. The support was thick under my heel and it did feel bouncer, softer, I think it may have been the extra thickness in the heel

No it isn’t all rainbows and unicorns; I have to admit I did get a blister on my little toe. Sad. I have big feet; yes a size 12 which is a 10 in men’s. So it is hard to find shoes and I am currently wearing men’s sneakers because it is so hard to find women shoes in the store that are large and wide enough.  So the insert that I received was a size 8-1/2” to 11, but that is still too small.  Because the insert was to short it hit my foot about 1 inch or so down and caused the blister. It is understandable, and it won’t cause me to stop using the insert but I would love it if Dr. Scholl’s Active series would make larger inserts. And wider. There are a lot of women over 5’-7” with large feet, I wish the shoe market would accommodate us. If the shoe insert could be even larger and customized so you had dashed lines on the back and you could cut the insert to your shoe width and length it would be awesome… I know this insert does have shoe cut lines but it needs to be bigger, a lot bigger.

So, this is a good idea, sneaker or active shoe inserts, but it falls a little short for me. But to all the average shoe size women, it is a home run.

Thanks for reading and thank you Influenster for letting me try this personalized product for Free….
