HERSHEY'S CHOCOLATE SPREAD......

HERSHEY'S CHOCOLATE SPREAD......

I had the opportunity to try the new Hershey’s Chocolate with Almond spread, from Crowdtap for FREEeeee. This was a sample taste test and it was delicious. I haven’t seen this product in stores yet, but it was suppose to début on December 6th I believe.

When I think of chocolate spread I think of Nutella but that is hazelnut spread. Hmmm, I found a recipe on Pinterest for an Oreo, chocolate, peanut butter spread months ago, so I had a jar of Nutella in my cabinet. I never purchased Nutella prior to buying it for the recipe I found on Pinterest. So my point is I pulled the jar out of the cabinet and the color of the Hershey’s chocolate spread and Nutella are basically the same. But the taste is different.

I love the taste of Hershey’s New Chocolate spread, it is sweet but not to sweet, it is chocolaty with a hint of almonds. Now, I love sugar, I’m a candy girl, so the taste of Nutella is more hazelnut-y and not sweet, it was almost dry, to thick for my taste, but the Hershey’s Chocolate spread was sweet and smooth and the perfect balance of sweet and chocolate.

So, I tested the spread out on toast which is weird to me because I didn’t grow up on Nutella.  I’m a butter and jam girl. But I wanted to try it. I rather eat Hershey’s chocolate spread with fruit or pretzels; for this taste test, I even pulled out the Reese’s pieces and added them to the spread, Yummie. Throughout this taste test, if I needed a sugar fix during the day, I just grabbed a spoonful for the chocolate spread, it is good on its own too.

So I had a idea, since it is Christmas time and I am a baker, I tend to not bake one or two kinds of cookies at Christmas but 8-10 different kinds of cookies, and I love new recipes too, I want to have a number of cookies, that are my go to recipes, tried and true, etc…So I believe it takes years to find just the right cookie recipe. One of the cookies I’ve been making for years, is the peanut butter kiss cookies or blossom cookies, I’ve even tried the recipe with peanut butter cups. Well I had the idea, what if I put the Hershey chocolate spread in a pastry bag and piped the Hershey’s chocolate spread into the peanut butter cookie, Yummie, I love this idea, I hope my friends and family do too. Also this spread can be used to sandwich cookies together, I love it. I want to make sugar cookies this year and cut all kinds of shapes out; I am totally going to try to sandwich cookies.

Well I’m rambling. December was the perfect time to try the New Hershey’s chocolate spread because I would have never thought to bake with the spread, but I do now… So try Hershey’s chocolate spread it is totally worth it….If you see it buy it, you won’t be sorry.

Thanks for reading.

I received Curel Intensive Healing Advanced Ceramide Therapy hand lotion samples from Buzzagent, for FREE to sample and share with my friends.

I received six little 1 oz samples. Wow, right?

I love it when I receive big samples to share with my friends and family. Little samples give you one use, but a 1 oz sample lets you try the lotion on multiple occasions. And it is great when not only you can experience a sample share but that your friends can too, so THANK YOU Curel and Buzzagent for big samples.

Now the product….This lotion or Crème is thick, and covers well. If you flip the jar upside down nothing will fall out. It isn’t your typical lotion but the type of hand therapy that you would find online or at a specialty store. This isn’t the type of lotion you would think to find at a convenient store, but you can now…

It is very cold here in New England this time of year so my skin and hands tend to be a little dry.   Upon my first use, I noticed the lotion is very rich, it peaks when you dab your finger into it. When applied to your skin, the product soaks in, it doesn’t just lay on the top of your hand.  Since this lotion seeps in when applied, you can actually tell where the lotion was applied and where it wasn’t because there is a moisture line.

I hate lotion on my hands and want to wash my hands after using lotion, but this lotion absorbs so well and is so thick that even after washing my hands you can still feel the softens. This isn’t a greasy feeling or sticky it just feels moisturized.

Now as soon as I received my samples, the day of, my friend from CT was in town and I was able to open and share the box instantly with her and her family. I love when things happen that way. My friend applied the lotion right away, because she had a wedding the next day. And she felt the lotion absorb completely. Everybody was all smiles and it is my understanding that they are still using the product.

I do feel without knowing the price that this product if set at the right price point $5 or $6 no more then $8 would be an awesome find in the local convenient store. Yes I believe this product could be found else where but at a specialty store at a much higher price.

So try it out for your self, I feel overall it is above average.

I received the New Dr. Scholl’s Active series shoe inserts from Influenster a few weeks ago. I am currently in training for a half marathon in Disney. YAY… In 6 days… So this was the perfect time to receive this product because I am in training. On top of the half marathon my friends and I just ran a 5K this past weekend and we have two more races after the half this year. So I am a busy girl or at least my feet are.

I have to admit I believe if it isn’t broke then way fix it right. Well I’ve had my sneakers for many years; I just flipped through one of my photo albums and noticed that the sneakers I wore in my first triathlon are the same sneakers I am still wearing. And I’ve run in many races between that time. So needless to say I need new sneakers. But I also am the perfect candidate to try the new Dr. Scholl’s Active series sneaker inserts because it may help with the support I need in my old sneakers.

So, I opened the inserts right way and put them in my sneakers and jumped on the treadmill. Now I work pretty late at night so I tend to run on the treadmill during the week and outside on the weekends. So, I’ve used the inserts on and off the treadmill. Upon my first use I could feel the support. The heel, closest to the ankle is a firm arched surface that does provide support. I ran only 3 miles the first use but that same weekend I ran 10 miles with the inserts outside and I didn’t notice they were there. Which is a good thing. I didn’t feel any pain or slippage, it was an easy ride with the insert and I hoped it was helping. I guess if it hurt I would feel it. The support was thick under my heel and it did feel bouncer, softer, I think it may have been the extra thickness in the heel

No it isn’t all rainbows and unicorns; I have to admit I did get a blister on my little toe. Sad. I have big feet; yes a size 12 which is a 10 in men’s. So it is hard to find shoes and I am currently wearing men’s sneakers because it is so hard to find women shoes in the store that are large and wide enough.  So the insert that I received was a size 8-1/2” to 11, but that is still too small.  Because the insert was to short it hit my foot about 1 inch or so down and caused the blister. It is understandable, and it won’t cause me to stop using the insert but I would love it if Dr. Scholl’s Active series would make larger inserts. And wider. There are a lot of women over 5’-7” with large feet, I wish the shoe market would accommodate us. If the shoe insert could be even larger and customized so you had dashed lines on the back and you could cut the insert to your shoe width and length it would be awesome… I know this insert does have shoe cut lines but it needs to be bigger, a lot bigger.

So, this is a good idea, sneaker or active shoe inserts, but it falls a little short for me. But to all the average shoe size women, it is a home run.

Thanks for reading and thank you Influenster for letting me try this personalized product for Free….

Hello everybody... Well long time no talk. I have to apologize for not reviewing any products in a while. But life has just been a bit overwhelming. On top of that I break everything and I managed to break my micro USB which allows me to upload video and pictures from my camera. So... I've had to use my ipod to review products so sorry about the picture quality, my Ipod doesn't have a flash...

So, I've been super lucky the past few weeks because I've had the opportunity to review and test a few products, one of which is the New Cottonelle Clean care routine wet wipes.

Cottonelle clean care routine is the process of using toilet paper and Cottonelle wet wipes together.

Any who, I received a starter kit from Crowdtap in the mail for FREEeee. I love saying that (Think Adam Sandler in Bedtime stories :)

So...

Prior to the sample share I've never tried the new Cottonelle wet wipes but have seen a number of commercials on Crowdtap, I have to give Cottonelle props for switching up the celebrity host within the Cottonelle commercials, to Cherry; because what better way to talk about your butt then to say Bum, with a British accent. Good job... Love the word Bum....

So the product, I not only received one full size sample for myself but two personal travel size samples with coupons to hand out to my friends. And they were fast to go. On a side note, I turned one of my friends on to Crowdtap a few months back, So not realizing I offered the personal travel size sample to his wife and she mentioned she had already received a full size sample at home from Crowdtap herself; how lucky. So I passed the samples on to my other friends to share the wealth.

So, the package...It is a hard plastic container with a flip top all white with a blue rubberized interior. The rubberized portion (the blue insert) holds the wet wipes like a tissue box but it is soft.. The sample pack comes with unopened wet wipes within the holder and you just open and drop them into the white portion of the container.

Just pull the first wet wipe through the blue holder and your all set. Now close the lid till use.

Now, I've seen the commercials a number of times and the concept of wet wipes for your bum, seems smart.  You use water to clean a surface or water and soap to clean your clothes, hair and body then way not your bum? Well now you can, why hasn't somebody come up with this idea before?  With that said, I still think the idea is a bit foreign to me.  But it is hard to change when you've been using one product your whole life.  Right?

When I proceeded to try and hand out the samples, did the reviews come back that this product works? Yes.  Further more, I just had a party this past weekend and installed the Cottonelle in my toilet room and did my guests use the product? Yes. Nobody was too shy or scared to use it and one of my friends is a mom, well I have more then one friend who is a mom, but my friend had her daughter at the party and she is potty training and she mentioned the wet wipes help.  I guess it is a easy transition between changing diapers using wet wipes and using the New Cottonelle wipes.

Well thank you Cottenelle and Crowdtap for sharing, I will continue to spread the word.
